Cole also coached a summer for the 18u Midwest Marucci Baseball Club.
In 2020, he graduated from Evangel Summa Cum Laude and was named as the Outstanding Graduate in Criminal Justice. Cole first interned with Twibell Pierson Criminal Law during his time at Evangel and made it his goal to return to the firm as a defense attorney.
Cole went on to attend UMKC Law School on the Honorable Rollin C. Goodale academic scholarship. While at UMKC, he was a member of Law Review and Phi Delta Phi, a legal honor society. Cole also took part in Moot Court where he wrote appellate briefs and presented oral arguments. In Cole’s last year of law school, he was a member of the UMKC Expungement Clinic where he successfully expunged criminal records and appeared in court on behalf of his clients.
In the classroom, Cole received CALI Awards for Criminal Procedure II, Cultural Preservation Law, Indian Law, and Water Law. In addition, Cole was a law clerk and summer associate at Wagstaff & Cartmell, where he worked with two experienced criminal defense attorneys and led the firm’s softball team to a deep playoff run. Cole graduated Cum Laude with his Juris Doctor.
Cole is very excited for this opportunity to return home and pursue his passion for criminal defense at such an esteemed firm. Cole is also a member and volunteer at Woodland Hills Family Church, his home church in Branson.
