Bio

Tarek grew up in Monett, Missouri and has always called Southwest Missouri home. Tarek attended the University of Dallas where he majored in political philosophy and graduated Summa Cum Laude. After college, he received a full ride scholarship to Saint Louis University School of Law where he focused on criminal law and trial advocacy. During his time in law school, Tarek interned with the Missouri State Public Defender, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney. Tarek graduated first in his class and was the valedictorian of the class of 2022.

After passing the bar, Tarek worked for over three years at the Christian County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. While there, he litigated dozens of pretrial motions and tried numerous misdemeanor and felony cases. Tarek joined Twibell Pierson in March 2026, bringing his prosecutorial experience to criminal defense.
